Antique Majolica pitcher with brown simulated-bark background with delicate vines and wild tea roses. The handle is like a branch and the interior of the pitcher is a green-tinted cream. This piece is unmarked however the motif and glaze are likely the work of potters in Phoenixville Pennsylvania, USA in the late 19th century. Most likely it was manufactured about 1845-1895. It stands approximately 6" high and is in good condition.
